Sunday Lessons: Move forward with God.

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
                                                  - Phil 3:13-14

"Don't cry over spilled milk."

Just this evening, I was told that I will have to report to work at 6AM tomorrow. I was supposed to clock in at 10PM, and I was really looking forward to getting a long, nice sleep. I have more than enough 6AM-2PM shifts for this month.

I can go on feeling sorry for myself, or I can look at the bright side and rejoice at getting off work earlier than I expected. I have decided to choose the latter.

"Maturity happens when we decide to move on and move forward."

There's no use acting like a small child and crying over spilled milk. It's time to let go of the heartaches, of the what-ifs, of the could've beens, and start walking ahead, towards the future that God has designed for us.

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you."
                                 - Psalm 32:8
