In Another Life

You are a strong base
and I am a strong acid
Together we bring danger
but also hypnotizing beauty.

You have your conjugate acid
and I have my conjugate base
There's no way around it
and all we can do is wait.

Maybe in one life or another
We are perfect for each other,
meant to be together
like sodium and water.

And maybe one day
several light years from now
You'll find me, I'll find you
and we won't ever let go.

And upon that day,
we will be invincible
And one million newton of force
will neither break nor shake our bond.

Temperature, pressure, volume
None of them matters
because our chemistry
will exist 'til infinity.
